Plate Armor at level 28?

I just picked up "Commanding Bracers" requires level 28 and is plate. (I'm level 29). It let me equip them, but the "plate" in the description is red.

The character sheet show that I am getting both the stat and armor benefits for equipping them. Is this a bug or "working as intended"? Anyone know?

I think it's just a tooltip error. This item drops in Scarlet Halls. I think the heroic version is Plate and the normal version is mail.

Yep, it´s a tooltip error. Items dropping from a heroic, which has a way lower normal level version should be (and are) converted from plate>mail and mail>leather. The last part I'm not too certain about, but it is more than logical.

Not only it's a tooltip error, it's also a sound error. When you equip it, you actually get the 'plate' sound and not the 'mail' sound.
