That was talents, those extra 10% was by sacrificing 6% HoT-healing. Going 15% extra, it was sacrificing 9%.

But then why even "invest" in spirit? The difference of spirit on a 463-item compared to a 643 won't be that much, not enough to tell difference for the most part.

Except... it REALLY is noticeable, even from 430-450, once you start getting enough regen to be neutral or gain slightly during low-activity phases it snowballs to more and more mana.

Or like cata. T13 if you were in full heroic gear you couldn't go OOM unless you sucked.
Mana conversation depends on the group composition and their dps. You can have a really skilled healer go OOM if paired with 3 melee doing <20k, and you can have a bad healer never worry about mana with 3 ranged doing >60k.

This a thousand times, I know, as a healer, I depend on the group, and they depend on me, but look at this equation:

My dependency of them = Their dependency of me

That works, it's how it has always been.

Now it's:

My dependency of them >>>>>>>>>>>>>(x1000) Their dependency of me

Not sure how I feel about this at all if its true. Hypothetically it makes balancing much easier.... but we know how much easier mastery was supposed to make balancing and blizzard still shit the bed on that.

I think a lot of healers are really undervaluing spirit right now. They're used to the Cata paradigm, where more spirit did very little.

Each level has a flat mana value, 100k at 85 and 300k at 90, steps up each level.
And at least you don't head straight for a hardcap mastery value like ArPen :s

I can't feel anything, I've gone from 430 to 460... Yet all throughout, my own heart, devoid of emotion of empathy, I have felt.... NOTHING. A million, million lives wasted.

I can't tell any difference.
(Buff innervate to give 16e^12 mana again!)
