First of all here is a little about us! Having recently transferred and faction changed from Sylvanas Alliance side, we now call Twisting Nether Horde side home. We have dinged the guild to 25 since this ad was originally posted. Why the move? A combination of a number of members leaving for other games, a lack of motivated decent players on Sylvanas and frankly wanting a change!
We're a small but very friendly and very social guild comprising members from Norway, Denmark, Portugal, the UK and beyond. Many of us are friends IRL. We play together to enjoy the game and each others company so we're looking for people that are going to fit in with us and our sense of humour and community, as well as share our desire for solid progress in Mists and beyond. We have members that have been playing since TBC and earlier as well as people that picked up WoW in Cataclysm, and the core group that transferred are dedicated and talented players in both PvE and PvP.
When it comes to heroic progress we don't want to raid with people we don't know or don't gel with us as wiping on bosses when people have an attitude is demoralising, so while we may pug to fill an empty spot in normals or when content is on farm, for heroic progress we only run with a full guild group which meant in Dragon Soul we finished at 7/8 HC (it would of been 8 for certain had the real life boss not gotten in the way).
We are now looking to build the guild further with people that want to raid seriously, but have fun at the same time (genuine social applications are welcome too, but we are NOT a big anonymous social/levelling guild). Ideally you will be over 18 and must speak english to a good standard. We use Ventrilo for communication in raids so you should at the very least have that installed, and have a mic so you can talk and joke with us, rather than just listen. You should be available to raid from 20:00 server time Wednesdays and Mondays (being flexible with the days would be helpful but not a deal breaker by any means), and we also like to have alt runs on Sunday evenings that you are encouraged to sign up to. You must know your class and be above all else a team player; this is not a guild that respects people for cheesing the DPS and Healing meters at the expense of the raid. You will be a player who gives a shit about the rest of guild, and helps out when they can, and you should respect the whole of the player base be they boys or girls, straight or gay, black or white. We DO NOT want or tolerate trolls or bigots and encourage our guild members to be helpful, respectful people, so whatever your background you will be welcomed.
We are open to applications from all classes, but have a particular desire to hear from Hunters, Mages and plate wearers on the DPS side of things. From a healing side, all healers are welcome to apply, but be aware we already have an excellent Holy Paladin and are unlikely to recruit another unless they are better and can tell a truly incredible joke. We are REALLY KEEN ON HEARING FROM POTENTIAL MISTWEAVER MONKS, so if your thinking of re-rolling to this class please get in touch (we can help to speed up levelling with boosts etc).
