    just had two guilds do it on our server - got reported and issued a 72 hour ban + strippled loot + stripped achievements. dont do it, not worth it. if you do, you WILL be found out.

    That doesn't sound entirely correct to me...Blizzard can (I assume) go through their own systems and see when people have been in places they shouldn't be, but use guild logs as their basis to pass out bans?

    And? So what? People have been cheating in mmos for as long as there have been mmos. Blizzard has a history of imposing strict punishments on any guilds caught doing this and anyone claiming otherwise is a flat out liar.

    Social systems have nothing to do with whether or not something is an exploit. Asian guilds have been punished just as much if not more so than other guilds.

    Banning legitimate players for a minor exploit is easier than banning bots it seems.
