If this makes it to live I will have no problem throwing beer bottles and fruit at people in the ring in an attempt to ruin their fights.
"Oh no. Everything in the game isnt automatically available to me with little to no effort. I quit."
Seriously though, what happened to trying hard to achieve something and being rewarded for it?

Its a really awesome way to start a feature tbh. Different and it will help increase the social aspect of WoW as well. The people complaining are clearly people that don't talk to many people and are afraid they will never get an invite -> Get more social and join in.
The invitations aren't going to be rare - just a bit infrequent to start with when it first comes out.
Its really a good way of doing it. The way its set up only one person can be in the arena at a time. If they just let everyone get an invitation easily and walk in, even on Low pop servers, at peak times you'd be waiting 30 minutes - an hour to do one fight. On High pop servers at peak times if you'd be waiting hours. These are both true until interest in the guild would fade after a month or so.
This way, the price of the invitation will be high at first and the number of people doing the guild will be limited, but the wait time will be minimal. As these people finish/lose interest in the guild they will move on and others will move in. People should be filtering in slow enough that wait times never become absurd and the price of the invitation will drop and drop and drop.
The only thing I don't like about it is that there are Realm First achievements associated with the Brawler's guild that will undoubtedly only go to the people with boat loads of disposable income (tons of gold they have nothing better to spend on) and nobody else will have a realistic chance.
But, those are feats of strength and I probably wouldn't have had a chance at them anyway so I'll get over it.
maybe on high-population servers with top end guilds. On mine it will be a handful of morons camping who need to bring tanks and healers to fight Vale rares because they fail at this game camping the BMAH then inviting their bros, getting no where, and ultimately quitting, or complaining on the forums for nerfs.
How about they give an invite for completing Glorious! Achievement solo, without any outside help?
Because there is server first achievements attached to it and come on if you where the first in the world to do it you would post about it...so will they.
"there is a chance of putting you and your guild in the spotlight for a moment so ya top guilds will do it"
I bet this turns into a new world first race just give it time.

Same outcome just two different types of groups doing it.
This is a bad way to start it off.

I think tying a new feature to the BMAH is dumb. I'm all for heroic modes, challenge modes etc and certain content being tuned for high end players. I'm all for the difficulty of brawlers guilds being too high for the average player. But I think it's a bad move to tie admission to the BMAH.
This seems like a profoundly bad idea to me.
Some guy wins invitation on BMAH for crazy price, then starts selling invitations to the guild himself since you can invite others once you're in.
The brawlers guild is designed poorly in the first place since there can only be ONE FIGHT at a time per faction on your entire server. It would take decades to get it all done when competing with an entire server's worth of people.
I like ponies and I really don't care what you have to say about that.

BMAH is a dumb way to have invite. An achievement like killing all pre-MoP raid boss solo (or 2-3 man'd whatever you want, allready hearing some class crying) to give you an invite was way more in the line than a stupid goldsink.
And that's not even for me, I'm in one of the best guild of my realm and will have access soon enough (I always liked soloing hard content). I just think that BUYING the access to a PVE content is really stupid. Big guild and gold goblins (who will then sell invite) will probably have them first.
Or Blizzard throw LOT of invite on the BMAH (like 50-100/weeks) and the price stay "low" (at least buying an invite from someone shouldn't be hard). But outside of that...
Is though a good idea, give a fightclub flavour (and would have been perfect with my achievement idead IMO). Can also be the answer if invitations are unlimited in time/number.Originally Posted by Blizzard Entertainment
True. I'm really amused by the people here who call placing bids and getting invites from friends "hard work". I'd love to see the reaction from these same people if the pre-reqs become getting exalted with the Brawler's Guild by doing a months' worth of daily quests.
Wrong anyone can reach a high amount of gold if they play the AH or something.
and most people who do have that gold cap are in top guilds who sell heroic runs so how is that hard work when they sell something they got on farm...
What this really welcomes is more gold buying so those who don't have the gold cap have a shot at getting in.....

Yeah guys, stop complaining and go buy some gold from the gold sellers!
In all honesty this idea is stupid. I'm sitting on a pile of gold but I sure as hell wont pay hundreds ouf thousands of golds for this! The problem is that the invitations start at 10k and the first ones will most likely sell for a hell of a lot of gold. But in the end these people might make even more gold with them because they then get dibs on selling more invitations to other people.
So Blizzard right now is giving people with loads of money a way to exploit all those who have less and most likely they will ask for tremendous ammounts of gold at first.
Those invitations being so expensive will lead people to not actually invite someone, anyone else. Because they'd give away free money.
Eeeh kinda bummed.
They'll be tough to get the first few weeks probably. I wonder how many invites the Guildie can do...

Yeah. I have gold cap I could spend on this, but this is a lame way to gain entry. Brawlers guild was something I was really hoping for as brawlers guild feels 100% centered towards op blood dks
