Is this true? Do profession cd's get reset?
That's quite an oversight from Blizzard.
Hopefully these top guilds aren't spending their time getting gold over killing the boss.
Cause that's one way to f**k up the economy.

I don't see this as being an exploit so much as abusing Blizzards own stupidity. In this case they're using a game mechanic. Should what they're doing be part of the game? Most likely not. But it is right now.
