Scroll of rez or 10 day free time?!

I just got an email from Blizz offering me 10 days of free play time to try out Pandaria (looks to be a legit email).

If I take this, do I get the character boosted to 80? or do I need a scroll of rez for that? ( I qualify for scroll of rez haven't played in 6 months)

Qualifying for the Scroll has nothing to do with how long your account was inactive for.

Also, if you are eligible for Scroll and take the 10 days, you won't be able to get the boost.

Who can receive a Scroll of Resurrection?
To be eligible to receive a Scroll of Resurrection, your friend must have a full (non-Starter Edition) World of Warcraft license that has not been active after March 4th, 2012.

Aha thanks for that. Do you know if you still get the bumped up lvl 80 with scroll of rez? or has that offer finished?

I was curious and just talk to blizz about this issue. You can get a SoR and then do the 10 day trial, but you can not do the trial and then the SoR. You can get the trial removed and then do SoR and then the trial though.
