It's possible, it just costs a lot more I think.

But I would never really want that, it just doesn't seem healthy to "constrain" someone to only one person while being taught, you know?

I was a problem child when I was a kid. They couldn't have me in the same classroom as everyone else, so I got a private teacher free of charge.

I don't see why, you'd probably get a new teacher every few years (i.e. teachers would specialize in teaching specific age groups), and as long as they allowed time for social mingling, I wouldn't see a problem beyond the feasibility of it.

Estimator / Project Manager for this company (though the owner at the time has since died and the company is no longer in business) http://www.rockandwaterscape.com/

Basically my job was to meet with higher ups at companies (met with many of the top guys for the different casinos / resorts in Las Vegas), bid on projects (largest project I ever realistically bid on was for a little over $10 mil), and then if we got the projects I would run those projects from the office. It was a lot of looking at blueprints and computer screens mixed in with lots of trips to the different job sites. The last projects I was set to run were between a project we had at Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, a golf course in Ireland, and a smaller project in California. I instead left to try and take care of my health instead. It's one of my biggest regrets in life, but in the end it would have happened anyways.

Yeah, being forced by the parents to do X or Y in Uni is pretty bad. It's also bad when they expect and want things, from you, that is impossible to give or if they're possible, it's just exhausting and it's horrible.

Thankfully, my mom never really expected much from me lol, I'm glad, I don't mind it, she doesn't mean it as an insult, she just wants me to do my stuff and what I like.

    lol.

Well, I guess it depends on "kid"/person, some need more help, some don't and all that jazz.

But I wouldn't in no way behave bad to achieve goals, not really my thing.

It's feasible yeah, but I don't know how it would work and if it already works, you know.

Do they still teach at schools? I mean, I'd be pretty amazing if schools had teachers for atleast 10 people only. I would have "killed" for that when I was a kid, a class of 10 people only, ah, I'm having feels now.

The possibilities of bonding and making friends is a lot higher too, since it's just 10 people instead of 30 and it's just easier to bond with each other overall, but students and teachers, which is fundamental.

Not sure how it works in Portugal(If memory serves me right?), but in Sweden you can even get extra help or small group classes if you just ask.
If you really want an education that fits you then you should work for it. It becomes so much more annoying to go back as an adult and redo things you failed at.

It really has nothing to do with being bad or mean, if you have a resource than you should take advantage of it!

That's the attitude I wish I could have. xD How did you manage to come about that state of mind?

The bolded section is why I'm quickly becoming cynical about modern day life.

I don't like it either. But it's the way society is turning. I literally have to go on job interviews and lie them straight into their faces to even get a consideration. And I have 10 years+ experience in my profession and several licenses. It's like a freaking competition out there.

Yeah, Portugal. I don't know but isn't Sweden better than Portugal in terms of education? (I think this is what people would call a strawman? I need to wiki that, lol.)

But that is really besides the point tbh, comparing isn't really my thing, not exactly and yeah, I think if you ask or there's a "visible" problem when you're a kid, you'll get helped, assuming you're in a private school of course, I don't see this happening in public schools, but then again, I don't really know how that works.

Though I agree that yes, we should advantages of opportunities I guess.

Yeah, it really would be nice to have classes that small, I don't care how much money it would take, that should be a goal for humanity.

I dunno, at least for my classes, lots of classes would be grouped up into "tables" of a few people (4-8 usually) and the people at those tables would usually become pretty decent friends and all that, so that can be accomplished somewhat well even with huge classes.

That's why I worry about my future, I'm generally pretty honest, and it really sucks for me. I just wish I was a lying asshole so I could do whatever I wanted and never worry about stepping on toes and still manage to make more money than the persons who are attached to those toes.
