Ohhh, we're 9th and the UK is 13th. Must mean you also earn a bit more than we do on average, since everything is so expensive there.

Most likely. If you go to the computer forums you'll notice computer parts are about the same if not more expensive in euro than in dollar.

I'd give you an inch, you'd take me a mile, your tail wagging happily all the while.

Ohh... Korea's Grocery index is higher than ours. Does that mean their groceries are more expensive than here or that they pay more relatively?

On the other hand, I believe the avg income in Sweden is also a fair bit higher than in the US.

Googled for a few seconds, all links include part time jobs in their average yearly wages -_- That's so not useful.

And even then they complain that everything is so expensive. I think it's time for the US to regulate things a bit like we do over here, like paying taxes. Would help with the debt as well.

The debt I think is mostly due to their unreasonable military spending though. I mean it really is insane the amount they spend on their military.

Probably true, but why spend that much when you can't afford it?

Na food is more expensive here, travel is more expensive, games, computers, all cost more out here. And the price on alcohol is a joke out here :/

Internet in the US is way too expensive though. It's really absurd what some people pay for internet over there.
I'd say Sweden is a good example of how internet should be. (At least for prices and avg speed)

-edit- I think internet in the UK is also relatively expensive, not sure.

For £35 I think we had 20mg fibre broadband whatever + digital TV channels, which honestly wasnt too bad a price. I think me and my GF currently pay about £28 for 100mg broadband.

Politics. American politics is really weird. The budget is like congress's way of giving the middle finger to the president, because congress can bankrupt America pretty much and every time the budget is reviewed they make sure the president knows that.
