I don't get the whole ignore thingy.

On the internet we're nothing but avatars and words. All we can do is write our words and people can chose to read it.

And this is what I don't get. I mean, if I was put on ignore everytime I said something offensive or had a bad day, then everyone inhere would have me on ignore and no-one would read whenever I had a good day, or had an idea, or even answered the person's cry for help.

I fail to see how much destuction one person can create with words on a website. It's the same in WoW; I've only ignored people if they spam me, and even after that I clear my ignore list pretty much once a week. If I can't take someone on the internet calling me stupid and completely blocks him out instead of just ignoring his post, am I not then the baby?
