It's been the opposite for me, since the nerf to gold from old raids I've had no income.

As I clear all Vanilla raids with the pets, and mounts, every week I get about 700g from the drops. Now that you can get the pets, you sell them for 2-4k. The least I have gotten in a week is 2 and the most I have gotten was 6 so you could have a lot of gold.

Now if only I could sell mounts like I could pets, it would give me another reason to go back to Malygos.

I've made all my WoW gold this expansion (around 120k) by selling Darkmoon Cards during the second Darkmoon Faire. They were literally ripping the cards out of my hands, the most expensive one at 9k.

This is why I wish I had inscription instead of enchanting sometimes, every expansion the cards are pure cash that it isn't even funny. People will buy a deck for 80k in the beginning of the game and cards for as high as 15k.

I am lucky Sha Crystals are going for 400-500g right now. I get 10 and then sell them all off. Plus I have been killing more of the rares in Townlong Steppes as they drop those profession bags and the 2 rares in Dread Wastes that drop pets. I do that during my pet battle dailies as I go through my route every day.

Ugh I'd hate that, wouldn't work for me plus it would defeat the purpose of those "rare" mounts.

I just know that I would rather buy some of the mounts rather than farming for them. Time Lost Proto Drake is one of them. Let someone else have their time lost and I will buy it. Plus I hate hearing stories of someone doing runs with friends and having like 3 of the same mount drop over time and them just going to waste. At the very least any mount that drops from a boss can be BoE. The pheonix from Kael would be like 500k minimum for a long time.
