Has anyone else seen this trailer for the movie?
The movie looks like one of those over the top movies that is just amazing. And it has GlaDOS in it. They say the actual voice of GlaDOS in the trailer was indeed confirmed by Valve but the voice in the movie will be modulated slightly different. Del Toro was stated as saying there was no AI he would rather have than GlaDOS. Very much looking forward to it, as I tend to love end of the world type movies.
I always worry about plot and story in these sorts of movies. From the looks of it, it seems to be pretty one note.
Saw this trailer in theaters a while ago and it has held my interest since then. Really looking forward to seeing it, as it looks like it will be a very entertaining watch! The mechs and monsters look really cool. I normally don't go for these sorts of movies, but every now and then it's nice to fit a good old action film in somewhere. (:
Been looking forward to this since it's announcement. Can always go for a good Mech / Giant Monster flick, especially by an amazing director like Del Toro.
GlaDOS is a plus.
The trailer made me think a lot of Evangelion or Power Rangers and Swat Kats(becos of the fighter scene yeah its lame i know)
Looking forward to this movie now hopefully it will be good but its probably just gonna be shiny effects just like Real steel was (i want to punch that kid in the face after watching that movie)
Also i head that the GlaDOS voice was only for the trailer but its ofc the actor that voices GlaDOS that will be the AI in the movie but not the same pitch as GlaDOS however

First time i saw this trailer i thought it was for a power rangers reboot
My brain is having an orgasm.
As soon as I saw the monster I thought of Cloverfield!!!!!! Loved that movie a lot too.
Also, GladOS voice.. Omg, more orgasm in my brain. I can't wait for this movie.
Gundam meets Cthulu was the first thing in my mind when i saw the trailer. nevertheless, might watch it.
also...the monster at the end kinda reminded me of mannoroth/azmodan, dunno why...

If any director could pull this movie off, it'd be Del Toro - Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth set a great track record so far.
I'm a little leery of it being in 3D, but I'm looking forward to this anyway.
Well, better than nothing I guess!
I seriously love that voice.
I went and saw Cloverfield on the cinema and I must say that the camera shaking was vital, it made everything more real and I was actually scared, loved it!
Indeed.
I want bad ass stuff and explosions and sci fy too if possible.
Normally, I'd pass this off as another Battleship (which I honestly expected to be absolute garbage but it was surprisingly okay) or Transformers (which I watch because I was an '80s kid, but fuck you, Michael Bay), except for one thing.
Guillermo del Toro.
I will see anything that man makes, and it will usually amaze me, even though I'm a cranky critical bastard when it comes to fiction, whether books or movies.
