PTR transmog question

With the new reduction in transmog restrictions if I am a druid, who can use maces but cannot use swords, can I then mog my mace into a sword? I doubt it but none the less still wondering?

Been looking and haven't seen a definitive answer yet, apologies if this info is already out there

Nope. If your class can't use it you can't mog to it.

They're taking steps in the right direction but they're still far off from what I consider ideal. Not being able to trasmog from 2h sword to polearm because one half of a spec? Cmon....
