What do you think of this year's single player games being so political?

I can't help but notice that many of this year's single player games have relevant political themes.

In Ace Combat 7 there are themes of civil war, AI, drones, and satellite warfare. There is also an anti war theme that humanity should stop fighting wars and explore space.




In Fire Emblem Three Houses each of the faction's leaders has their own idea of how they want to rule Fodlan.


Call of Duty Modern Warfare seems inspired by the Syrian civil war and war against ISIS.


The Outer Worlds seems to have themes about corporations mistreatment of workers.


What do you think of this year's games being so political? Is it good for the video game medium as a form of art or is it forced?
