Server lag

I have been visiting new servers as im considering changing realms but I am having a problem which is lag.

I visited outland/stormscale and have been having fps problems, I changinged setting from high to low and still only getting constant 20 fps even in empty zones as I made a new undead but also went and tried busy zones like org but constant 20 fps at all times. Wondering if anybody could help me out on what the problem is.

my specs are:
amd phenom ii 965 OC 3.8ghz
hd 6870
6 gb ddr3 ram

My main server is alonsus which is pretty dead but over there im getting a constant 60+ fps in empty zones with medium settings.

Anyone out there that might be able to help me or have the same problem.

that is not lag. that is your computer "chunking" frames

sorry, what do you mean by "chunking frames"?

By any chance, do you have Addons that you haven't used for a long time? Go to the Addon menu at Character selection screen and check if the same addons are enabled as in your main server.
