Aion, some questions

I have just grabbed the Aion, free to play account.

And I have questions if someone knows. I cant use the world chats and cant use LFG, so how can I find groups for instance?

And how grindi is the game? I notice already that alot of quests is coming in 10x times repetable etc. Is it any idea to keep playing or shall I just download SWTOR instead again? :P

And.. any chance to become "Veteran" now? It have alot less restriction etc. And Im looking for a nice looking MMO that I can play in my free time (not looking for sub)
