    Is Zotac a good brand?

How is Zotac? Was thinking about buying http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814500268 for my computer build

There coolers are not as efficient as MSI or Gigabyte and can be quite loud but if that stuff does not bother you then no reason to not buy one i guess. Might be worth your while doing a bit of research on there customer service to see if it is any good. If i was you i would go for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125441 .

they are very solid performance wise , their ZOTAC AMP's are among the very best cards out there.

I personally would put them below MSI/Asus/gigabyte. I think their cooling is not as good as those three, but I think Zotac gives one of the highest factory overclocks.

damm shame they likely won't make any titan cards though.

Even if their recent AMP! cards are good they are still being looked at like a second grade manufacturer. It will likely take them a few years before they get a chance at making the premium cards.

I bought a Zotac GTX 680 when it released (which was same day as other 680) and I haven't had any problems with it, mostly problems with my slow CPU ;P

mind to give us a budget and desired wishes/current rig so we can help search because i think you are kinda looking at wrong details like 3gb Vram model and XFX isn't a good AMD brand either.

I got this card - no problems and anything, dunno why but it's A LOT smaller than others, but it's a beast performance wise. However at the very high load it goes into a bit loud mode (only happened in GW2 with more than 70 people on screen).

Would be my recommendation for skyrim with mods, unless your huge on your mmo's in mid range cards nvidia isn't as competitive (bang for buck, they are still great cards).
If you overclock this baby your looking at roughly 7950 performance for $245 after MIR. Thats pretty hard to beat.
