Links are broken but I wouldn't get a EVGA card that isn't Signature 2 unless I was going to change the cooler on it.

better cooler and very good overclocking potential compared to stock cards.
most people around here don't like stock cooler due to being too noisy/not cool good enough.

That extra 2 GB will be wasted because of the membus.

Uhm the 4GB will be a waste. Currently the memory controller is divided in sets of 32bit/64bit (can't remember exactly) and they steer each x% of memory with 2GB cards and if you get 4GB cards your basically just doubling the work for each controller set.

4GB cards are only going to be useful when you need an extra of 200-300MB or skyrim with mods.

@Op Does it really need to be an evga card? There are plenty of other lovely binned cards.

My suggestion would be try the 670 dc2t from Asus which has a boost clock of 1137mhz already. http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX670DC2T2GD5/

They're really hard to get :/

I just personally bought a GTX 660. About a hundred dollars less then the 670, with only a ~25% performance drop off. I loves it!
OT: If you are set on the 670, I'd get a 2g card. Like others have said no real need for a 4g card for what you want it for.

EVGA is a very solid brand for gpu's. (hell i even dare say one of the best gpu brands out there)
their warranty service is unmatched and do know for just gaming you don't need 4Gb Vram.

call me biased but also good a got a flawless track record with evga cards. (570/670 and soon to likely include a titan)
i'd say this is a case where brand loyalty is actually well founded.

Discontinued not. Being out of stock, yes. Try the DC2 version http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121637

It isn't high overclocked as the dc2t top version but can easily reach the clocks of the top version.
