Kind of a pointless thread you usualy ask before ordering so you dont get disapointed if you screw up ordering stuff, like in this setup for the price off the 7870 you could have gotten the 7870xt which is like 10-15% than what you have currently.

It should work well for streaming despite that, but you wont be able to keep 60fps on ultra even withouth streaming at 1080p, but you should do very well with some settings turned down.

Ask before buying then people can actually give feedback. Now all we can do is confirm the things you'll find out yourself in five minutes.

And no, you can't stream 1080p, but 720p with high settings should be fine (scaled down while game is running at 1080p). Video compression in realtime just requires shitloads more CPU power than even i5's have.

Well, Sorry perhaps i worded it wrong.

I will be overclocking the CPU to 4.2 GHZ also would that help with the 1080p Steaming? Vesseblah?

Rafax, Cheers for the input mate, so i would of been better off getting a Sapphire HD 7870 XT? Although with my case i don't think it would fit would it?

Also, Would i be able to play ultra with 60+ fps raiding without Streaming? It still be steady 60?

    -It should help a bit.

    -Why would it not fit?

    - No. Even my 3570k 4.5GHz GTX680 doesn't go higher than 50 fps in 25 man raids. Your looking at 30-40 fps while raiding with a 7870XT.

You haven't got yourself a cpu cooler? I suggest getting one.

    8700K (5GHz) - Z370 M5 - Mugen 5 - 16GB Tridentz 3200MHz - GTX 1070Ti Strix - NZXT S340E - Dell 24' 1440p (165Hz)

    i5-3570k with a GTX 680 and not getting 60+?

Something has to be wrong there. Try playing in full screen non widow mode

No. Nobody streams at 1080p without more cores (i7-3930K) or a capture card like this. Not even i7-3770K can do 1080p at 30fps. AMD's old 6-core PhenomII x6 1090 might be able to, but it will also run WoW slower.

Nothing is wrong there, 25man raids just need more hardware power than solo questing or sandbox arenas. The thing is that most people are fooling themselves thinking they have 150fps when looking at the number out of combat without realizing it will drop to 40-50 while in combat.

The XT edition is definitely a step up from the regular 7870
