Tell me again how the government enforces the gun laws that already exist.

the common factor in all the shootings is the shooters needed mental health attention... wasn't their access to guns... Sorry... you and the others can continue to bang the 'guns are evil' drum all you want... I'm not gonna listen.
    Okay, I'll follow your lead.

My husband can walk into a gun store today and buy any gun on the shelf. He has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD way prior to this purchase. So if he buys a gun and uses it to kill people, it's his fault cause he's "crazy, mentally unbalanced, etc." and certainly not the fault of today's gun laws.

You say mental health attention like gun sellers give a crap, because they don't, because the laws say they shouldn't. Hence stricter gun laws are in order.

Also would like to point out I never said I think guns are evil. I think today's gun laws are too lax, which is painfully apparent.

You mean buy the votes of anyone you can get into the polling place using money from the US treasury, right?

You do realize the "fraud" for the 2000 election was about miscounted votes, hanging chads, ect and not about people voting who shouldnt be.

You know for someone who avidly disavows the Republican Party you really do spew a lot of their bullshit.

Perhaps you missed it... the Sandy Hook shooter tried to buy a gun... he refused the background check, the seller refused to sell him the gun... he went and stole his mother's guns (killed her first if you weren't paying attention).

Perhaps you also missed where his mother KNEW he was a danger and tried to have him committed, but the CT courts refused.

I asked you the same question over and over and you made it about guns to avoid answering it, not me. If you'd like to make this a discussion about gun control, we have a thread for that.

Also, I asked for elections undermined by voter fraud. Both of those elections had no proof behind the supposed conspiracy theories, and the conspiracy theories were ballot rigging, not voter fraud. So try again.

It certainly wasn't voter fraud, that's for sure. We asked you to provide an instance where voter fraud occurred. You have yet to.

You do know there's a difference between voter fraud (people voting who shouldn't be) and other forms of election rigging... don't you? If you want to violate people's 24th amendment rights, you're going to have to do better than that.

What? the Senate now confirms who the director of the NRA is? is that what you are really saying?

He wasn't refused, last I read, Connecticut's gun laws state that there be a waiting period before being able to take the gun home, and Adam Lanza decided not to wait.

And, if there were laws saying, for example, that a person cannot buy guns when there is someone with a mental disorder living with them, he wouldn't have had access to her guns anyway.

Generally, your left seems like Norway's right.
To liberal here in Norway, is to be to Socialist.

What you call Socialism in the US is pathetic compared to what the socialist left can offer here, so in my eyes, MSNBC is right wing, not left wing....hurr hurr?

I'd like to see this citation about him deciding not to wait as opposed to refusing the background check.

You keep throwing the 24th amendment at me... isn't that the one that made poll taxes unconstitutional? What is unconstitutional about showing a valid ID that can and would be provided by the state at no cost to the citizen? Hmm? doesn't sound like a poll tax to me... maybe you can explain it to me, in detail please.

You, the Dems, the President, and AG Holder dont care about the integrity of elections or who is voting. You care about who you can buy that will come vote for you, isn't that right?

Sivik: I believe the NRA is just a lobbying group. Do you mean the ATF?

Also, dont you need to pay to get a license? If you need to pay to get something just to vote, it is a form of poll tax in a way.

I blame our two party system. We really need to move to a multi-party system.

Since when is the head of the NRA a White House position? This is the first I've heard of it. Seems quite odd to me that the Dems, the President and all of you gun control folks are the ones vehemently hating the NRA... and now you tell me that the NRA is run by the White House, are you certain of this?
