Finally completed "Awake the Drakes" achievement for the Emerald Drake reward. Was just missing Blazing Drake for the longest time, and still not done farming Dragon Soul for the mounts in there. I'm still pretty disappointed with this drake as a reward, considering some of the extensive mount farming it took to complete the achievement. But, either way, here it is!

For how long it took me to get it originally (111 kills), it sure loved to drop when I randomly go back in to finish a set.



The one in my bank was last summer, when I was RAFing, so I brought my druid in there for the toy and it dropped then (3rd time carrying). lol

So, 2 times it dropped in 8 kills maybe lol The rng..

After farming for years on several toons, with not a single mount dropping in Dragon Soul... this month I got my 2nd in there! 2/3, almost all done with DS!

Slightly OT but does anyone know if that green Gul'dan mount drops as personal loot aswell? Think I've only heard it drop when ML was on, hence the question.

I don't know 100%, but I do know the mythic version does - and you can even get more than one in one kill, somehow.

It definitely would drop on personal loot, and green version can drop in any difficulty (except LFR)

I also got this awesome guy awhile back, but never got around to sharing. I never expected to own this one but ecstatic I was able to get my hands on one after all.



Up to 366; I just wish one of the paragon mounts would drop. Still at 0...

Finally managed to get my Valarjar drake from 16th Valarjar box, getting me to 3/5 Paragon mounts with just Farondis and Highmountain to go.
