Barrens Raid = Nightmare

Man the Barrens raid where we're "Stealing" supplies for the impending raid on org is total bullplop!

The drop rates suck on most supplies and thats if your not smashing the leaders down to collect 20+ supplies OR protecting a caravan AND dealing with phasing on certain areas.

Not to mention the legendary barrens chat as well.

This patch is going to be painful!

It took me around 10 minutes to do the intial quest, after that I had 50/150 of all supplies for the weekly in around another 10 minutes. Takes less time to do then the golden lotus dailies

Well they do need to change that shit where druids dont break flight form but can pick up supplies.

Is there a trick or something I'm missing? Cause I dicked around with that shit for an hour and a half and certainly wasn't getting 50 of each supply in 10 minutes.

Here's what I found-killing mobs gets 1 supply per mob. Looting the items around the mobs nets 1-3 per item looted(usually 2, I found). Slow going this way obviously even if you do kill things fast. Escorting caravans is gives a bigger chunk of supplies, but then you have to deal with assholes from the other faction killing your caravan. If you're into PvP, cool. If you're not, well, caravans can be a problem. I don't mind PvP myself, but the problem is, my server is HEAVILY weighted towards the opposing faction, so it may be me and 1 other person escorting, with 10 allies attacking it. Good luck with those odds. Then there is killing bosses. Like the caravans, this gives a big chunk of supplies, but the whole faction balance thing is a problem here, too. As soon as a boss spawns, you have 10 people from the opposing faction who have already tagged it, and even if you can get one tagged first, it's either spend awhile soloing it(if you even can, the one I tried seemed doable as a blood DK, but eventually the ally raid who were standing around watching me decided to join in, I assume to speed things along and start the respawn timer) or hope your own faction makes their way out to it and lends a hand.

So is there another way to speed supply gathering along(disregarding cute answers like "faction change" or "server transfer") that I missed?

Those commanders drop A LOT of supplies and are treated like world bosses ( Tag and get loot )
