Oh sorry this was the recent christmas sale, http://wccftech.com/give-gift-world-warcraft-christmas/. The most recent sale was actually more proportional $35 to 31 euros, which i think works out better for US still, but not as bad.

Don't be silly. The reason Europeans pay more for everything coming from US is this: TAXES. Europe has this shit called "social care" or something, which says that people who don't work must get a lot of money still. Guess where that money comes from? Then there is the health care thing. Remember that retarded documentary about the US hospitals and how much better the system is in other places? Well guess where is the money coming from to finance those "free" hospitals in Europe. Then there is Bruxelles and the shitty European bureaucracy. Do you know how many motherfuckers are there and how much are they being paid (for doing nothing)? Now guess who are the stupid fuckers paying that money after all (right, we are).
US military budget 682bn 6 times that of china, who pays for all that?
The Us has the highest healthcare costs as a %of GDP in the western world, the comonwealth fund rated America last place in terms of healthcare. Do any of these things affect game sale prices? No.
You don't know what you're talking about. In fact I would say you're talking out of your ass. Learn the difference between social/income tax and VAT/sales tax.
National insurance tax has no effect on the cost of imported goods either, having a NHS does not mean that Video games cost more, ridiculous assumption and completly off topic :S

Mosotti, while it is true Europeans have social care, this is mostly funded by a social fee on wages. for example, every Belgian employee pays a 13.07% social contribution, which is then used to fund government-based health care. in addition, in Belgium you are required to have health insurance. there are a number of different health insurance companies out there that mostly originate from political parties. you have 5 major "mutualities" in Belgium: Christian, Socialistic, Liberal, Independant and Neutral. you need to pay a certain fee to these companies, in return you get refunded most prescription drugs and most treatments.
but We're digressing from the original topic. US players ALSO pay taxes, but they pay it in addition to the displayed price. in EU, you're required to include taxes into the displayed price. if you add tax to the US price (or substract tax from the EU price), you can compare it. otherwise, you can't.
