Basically anthing your daddy rememberd - see it as "sons" of warboss are much more likely to end up at warboss level. Tho again i dont remember if it wasnt retconned.

Keep in mind that orkz grow bigger the more they fight, so undefeated warboss can not only grow to insane levels but also be unbeliveably strong.

    http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Ghazghkull_Mag_Uruk_Thraka

For reference. Keep in mind that 1d4chan have very "soft" approach to lore, but at the same time its most accesible for begginers

It might have, as I would imagine after thousands upon thousands of years such evolutionary power would make orks smarter and tougher. They seem to lack the smarter part, and arguably (At least I haven't seen) an increase in anything else besides what they have been in lore for a long while.

EDIT: The link is humorous at least, but it did provide some information. So is there an actual limit to how big an ork can get? The link you gave gives about how big I've seen them portrayed in art (Not in-game).

well the abnormal evolution is definitely correct, the race they evolved from what seems to be the ONLY race created by the old ones that actually evolved at all, they retained a complete lack of fear from their ancestors (making them the only race to not be afraid of the nightbringer on an instinctual level) AND they're biologically adapted to get bigger and tougher the more they fight meaning they have evolved to be entirely based on combat.

really despite the advantages they have with the gestalt psyker powers they are not meant to be very smart, I mean they manage to piece together some nice tech but that only works because of the field and even then it doesn't always work perfectly (uncovered electricity hurts, go figure). their ancestor race was created to be a much more tough hand to hand combatant against the necrons and ctan than the eldar who were meant to be strategic and technological adversaries. they were created with very limited mental capacity and very high physical capacity as a form of berserking shock trooper for the old ones. they never really got out of that.
...at this point it's almost guaranteed that "war in warcraft" is garrosh getting on his incompetent podium to declare yet another group his enemy for the crime of breathing his air, alliance saying this is horde favoritism, and the more....special....yes.. let's go with special... horde players seeing garrosh as a god because he lets them attack the alliance players who keep saying that out being led by a moron is horde favoritism.

Well you must keep in mind that orkz die in huge numbers, so majority of them may add nothing to evolution of species. This may not be bad because i dont think any planet will survive presence of lets say 1000 warbosses. Also after things like exterminatus of entire system alot of these genes may be lost.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut this is thread about chaos isnt it ? Let's plant seed of heresy with some pics.

Some of those are quite terrifying. And not their armor; the actual being behind it. I keep forgetting that the marines inside are much more hideous than on the out. I guess I spoil myself with basic lore and not really understanding how weird and morphed things are. o.o

Chaos is essentially WoW's burning legion... but tens of thousands of years in the future with all the technology and magical breakthroughs that come with it. That's like saying who would win... The United States current military vs. the military of pre-historic Egypt.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H3-N9zoI5c Amazing video of 60+ devilsaurs raiding Undercity!

My God, what a horrible creation. People seeing what they want? Thank God they tried to shy away from that. I know it pisses me off when I'm in an heroic raid, yet in the back of my head all I can think is 'some casual player is playing a heroic dungeon and not wiping.' -Vodkarn

keep in mind chaos (especially if you spell it with a K just cause you can) doesn't exactly strive for "pretty" in its changes. in fact even slaanesh's troops who are the closest thing chaos has to attempting seduction get characterized as hideous and terrifying at the same time. nurgle is probably the most blatant in this with the fact that almost every change he makes turns the person or daemon into a bloated mass of blisters and pustules full of diseased ooze and gas with tumors and deformities in most of their body....really your best chance for winning a popularity contest on looks in chaos is khorne and that's just cause the worst you can say about his is that they're red (otherwise they cut you in half)

I'd be tempted to vote pre-historic egypt just because the cat worship (cats are awesome) but I'd be lieing to myself if I didn't think the tactical and technological advances of modern day would win.

Remember that hats are second only to PAULDRONS. Luckily neither of you have any. Holy crap!!! What if we reversed engineered Necron technology and created a dimensional pocket where your pauldrons are massive. The look normal in the real world but underneath is the pocket dimension where they are 10000000000000000000000000000000000000x the size.

heresy! hats are second to none! especially when on cats!...in fact I'm saying it now nightbringer-cat with a hat on would probably mean instant victory over everything in warhammer.

Mutations heavily rely on legion. For instance thousand sons and word bearers look mostly like humans because they can controll and guide changes (hence sexy horns on word bearers, keep in mind that in case of thousand sons "mutation controll" is only sorcerer thingy - other members of legion had "accident" resulting in them turning into dust and eventually rubric marines).

On the other hand we have emperors children who mutate really heavily as well as deathguard who are extreme version of that. Some legions like iron warriors avoid weird look just by cutting off any mutating limb and replacing it with cybernetic one.

In 40k daemon princes are mortals who have ascended to daemonhood. As primarchs were the mightiest of mortals they became the mightiest of daemon princes, it also helps that they were able to make great offerings to attain these gifts.

The other daemons are all creatures born in the warp, they are formed when a Chaos god gives a portion of its own power a form and will. The mightiest daemons are more powerful than daemon princes but I'm not sure how they compare to daemon primarchs.

Lorgar is also incredibly powerfull psyker (but not as strong as magnus) and posses insane charisma and ability to indocrinate. Angron in angriest and deadlies prymarch to ever swing and axe (or anything to be honest), pertubo does not hesitate to use ANY weapon, including virus bombing, replacing limbs with machinery, and other things like that. Mortarion just causes AIDS to anthing in range of 500 metres from him. Fulgrim have 4 hands (thats not an only thing he have 4) magical sword and weird relationship with certain daemon. And then we have alpharius. We don't speak about alpharius. In fact he don't even exist.
The loyalists had their own share of super-elite primarchs.

The mightiest were (in roughly this order)Sanguinius (closest to the Emperor but slightly cursed), Horus (nearly on a par with Sanguinius), Leman Russ (toughest fighter), Magnus the Red (insanely powerful psyker but his weakness is Space Wolves).

Angron could have been on a par or mightier than Russ if not for deep flaws in his psyche formed before he was reunited with the Emperor.

El'Johnson and Fulgrim probably come close behind, the rest are all fairly B-List apart from various quirks and traits. Lorgar was bottom of the pecking order; probably weakest in battle and never finding a niche for his particular traits.

3- They have support of chaos gods, and that helps alot.
Post treachery for sure, look how easily Horus swatted Sanguinius in his daemon form (although the poor Blood Angel was knackered and had his back broken earlier).

And I still find the reproduction behind Orks weird, but I find any non traditional sexual reproduction weird. Their kind come from spores and than grow? I quickly read about it, so maybe it has changed. But that's fucking abnormal. (Warhammer is an abnormal series, I know)
Orks are an entire eco-system. The spores they emit grow in to fungus, squigs, snotling (snotz), gretchin (grotz) and orks. The snotlings are the first humanoids to emerge and gather the fungus to feed the gretchin who come next. The gretchin build settlements and start herding squigs ready for the orks who take over and start fighting anything in range. The whole system is regulated by the Waaagh, so orks will only grow once enough grotz and snotz are working to feed them. Once a planet has been infected it is nearly impossible to get rid of all the ork spores so once a planet has been invaded it has to continually cull ork tribes before they get big enough to attack human settlements.

As they grow older some orks have strains of artificial DNA activate in their genome which unlock the skills and knowledge needed to become the ork specialists such as mek-boyz, pain-boyz, runt-herdz and weird-boyz. Ork boyz who become high-achievers in battle physically grow to become nobz, and either lead mobz of boyz or become a bodyguard for a more successful (and therefore bigger) boss, warboss or warlord (the highest ranking and therefore biggest orks).

A lot of the changes that happened to the Emperor's Children were surgical enhancements by Fabius Bile. Plus a lot of them were really emo and liked cutting themselves.
