Not really escort. Ellie can pretty much handle herself, plus stealth mechanics mostly only work for you. She can run straight through clickers and they won't attack. Be a bit of an issue for immersion, but you definitely don't need to escort.

Bioshock Infinite was a glorious game, and it was nothing but escort.

Yeah, same. Like, I stopped playing Diablo 3 (finally), and all I really play nowadays is Magic 2014, which is just a digitized version of a card game, so it barely counts. It also doesn't help I have no newer consoles, and most games I can't stand the controls on a PC.

I played Cthulhu Saves the World for a little while, hoping it would satiate my classic RPG needs. But, I really don't like the combat system. The leveling system is cool though. It gives you options on your characters each time you level, so there's a little bit of customization.

And the combat gets progressively more of a pain in the ass, I gave up after 13 hours I just couldn't do it anymore. Fuck random encounters. The game has really fun story but I never finished it because of insufferable combat

According to the opening, random encounters are limited to 25 per area. But when I was in the town overrun by zombies, and didn't realize that there were holes on the sides of houses, I know I fought more than that.

Aoe damage is incredibly shit. Single target damage isn't much better, and random encounters are rather long. Bosses are damn near impossible from what I've seen (and I'm playing it on easy). the game came with another game though, called Breath of Death VII. Wondering if that one's a bit better (made by the same people)/

wait until you get to the later part of the game where you're in some kind of factory fighting 2052485395 huge demons that deal hilarious damage and some magic man that heals all of them to full health every fucking turn, and in every encounter cthulhu gets killed first, and it's always only sharpe that stays barely alive of the entire group. it's fucking impossible, that's why I gave up

Don't know about the first two, haven't played them, but Twilight Princess is really high up among my favourite Zelda titles. :3
