My first and only non-internet related death was a barbarian in act III, I was playing Co-op (This was before mp even existed) and I opened a door and instantly died to like 10 of those little explodey guys.

In the 40s multiple times... their servers kicked me (still stayed on skype and everything without an issue), came back to a character that was asked to add to my hall of heroes or whatever.

I gave up after that.
