Banner management with a single banner

When is it the best moment to put the banner down for the overall 10man (or 25 with only 1 Banner) performance?

For the first one, we have 3 options: Instant, 2nd or 3rd cycle. Afterwards it's a matter of fight length and movement requirements.


It's quite obvious when a banner would profit us the most but I am unable to tell simcraft how to use the banner at the moment. I just don't know how at the moment but I might find it one day (the wiki is quite interesting and I keep getting stuck before I find a way to change the banner but I will get there )

The second obvious thing is that the banners value is increased if BL is active and everyone in the raid can use it without having to move (for example lei shen, beginning of p3: Casters don't have to move when the phase starts but at 20% they are usually running around and can't cast).



EDIT: I might be blind. Found the skull banner option. Now I just have to play with it until I can get it to do what I want
