While I really have to question History for adding things like this and Ancient Aliens is, they still do produce some damn fine shows. Vikings, Bible, Hatsfields and McCoys, and one of the best in YEARS was The Men who Built America.

Seriously , if you want to know why capitalism can be very good and horribly bad at the same time, watch that series. In defense of Pawn Stars, they at least explain the items and their historical significance instead of just "this is worth ___"

I also have to give props to American Pickers.

I find a lot of stuff on Pawn Stars to be interesting. I just hate all the scripted "reality tv" shit.

yeah, I could live without Ice road Truckers or Swamp men (now if they wanted to do a program on that way of life from its beginning to now, I'd be ok with it.) But I would not put History on the same level as TLC or MTV.

Although I think they need to have Ken Burns documentary marathons a couple times a month personally. Ken burns is the ultimate documentary historian.

That is not my beef with it.

My problem with WW2 and inn general alot of war history is;

1. Its fucking annoying being reminded about it constantly. We can learn from history yes, but now when the world is the most peacefull its ever been, why should I care for what happend once, when it can never repeat itself. We got Nato, FN, he'll hole EUROPE, is big peace things. Im not a big fan off europe, but its the greatest peace-project inn this world, ensuring that many countries works together within same rules.

2. I like germany. I really do. Joke what you want, but germany is the locomotive off europe, Denmarks (my own country..) biggest exsport/traded-partner, and inn general a nice country. Its the only country besides like Austria/Switchzerland, that even remotely reminds you off Scandinavian countries to.

3. WAY TO MUCH FOCUS ON WW2, for way to fucking long. By now so many movies, books, TV shit has been made about it, that its just strecthed so fin its pathetic people keep making new shit about it. I bet more money has soon been made trough all this hollywood/TV crap, than the war costed...-,-

Dude, I have learned more from Pawn Stars than I ever did from The Hitler Channel. No joke. That show is amazing.
