And, why should I care exactly?

Some sources are suggesting it was caused by some kind of overdose.
It still hurts my heart. This guy was seriously one of my idols. He finished rehab successfully too long ago. I'm wondering when, if ever, we'll know what really happened.
You don't have to care. You really don't.
But there's no need to be insensitive. A life was lost. Come on, now.
Maybe they'll finally cancel that scum show.
Inb4 "Who is this?" from posters who think it's cool to be ignorant of the world.
I don't know who he is, never watched glee. Real damn sad for a young person to die.
He started using drugs at 13. Even if he finished his rehab at age 29 (after his rehab at age 19 and who knows how many in between), that took care only of his addiction problems - the internal damage was probably done, setting up a time bomb with a random timer.
I also like Glee most of the time (except when the show is too embarrassing to watch so I'm on Facebook while it runs in the background) and Cory seemed like a really cool guy in interviews. Sucks that he managed to destroy himself, build himself back up and destroy himself again, all single-handedly.
My magic will tear you apart.
Pretty sad to have another actor turn to drugs no matter what he acted in. I watched the first 2-3 series of Glee, it was actually quite funny in places, Jane Lynch carried that show.
Mh the guy was actually alright... Troubled early life and a normal family behind... It's sad.
Reminds me of that "terminator" kid what's his name....Edward furlong.
It's sad. I hate glee, but still.. way too young.

Why the hell is it ignorant for non-American people not to know some American TV-series? I never heard of the guy or the series and that's totally fine.
Don't get me wrong, it's always a sad thing if young people die, especially if it's because of an overdose. But don't attack us for not having heard of him or the series...
