The heirloom weapons

Please don't assume this is FACT. PTR is PTR and everything is subject to change. The level range may very well get changed. I expect it to.

Then it changed to lvl 95 or 97 or 242. Dosen't change the fact that 1, You can give your heroic/normal/flexx weapon right away after it dropped to your other lvl 90 alt, before logging in with him.
2, If they wanted nothing else, but this, it would have been "Bind on Account" purple, like the new store helms. The fact that it is heirloom, means you can use it for leveling. We already have weapons for 1-8x, the only logical explanation remains, it will scale upwards while leveling for next expansion. Which is a genius idea, if you think about. Your hard earned weapon won't be useless on lvl 91 with the first blue.

No, means it's just like your runestones etc. It's personal for you, but that doesn't do anything for the actual boss drops.

Ok but then there are only two possibilities:

1. everyone gets one per Lockout -> I don't think they would do that

2. a certain number of players will get a Weapon per Lockout --> Basically the same as LFR, only that you have to loot it instead of getting it added to your bag^^

You're assuming 100%, but yes they could just do X amount per lockout get a weapon.

It'll be just like LFR currently. Everyone has a certain % chance for it to drop for them personally. Which means it is POSSIBLE every single person could get one, or no one could get one for a month. But, on average, people will get them on X% of kills.

And don't forget everyone:

The first heirloom weapon that drops for you will be for your current loot spec, but after that you will get one at random.

So, if you got a better weapon earlier in the tier, change your spec for the kill (provided you can risk it) so that your heirloom comes in as the spec you want (say, off-spec weapon), cause you won't be getting alt weapons until your second drop on, unless your alt uses the same weapon/stat type(s) as your main.
