    [5.4] Engineering Frag Belt now 97% less effective.

    Didn't really see the details anywhere but the Frag Belt has been nerfed to ~880 damage on the PTR. Might not want to choose Engineering anymore.

    A 97% reduction does seem very excessive. Are there any encounters in the Siege of Orgrimmar where this would've been powerful?

    In 5.0-5.1, as Ret, I used the Frag belt. On Sha of Fear Heroic in particular it was nice for the final waves of adds

    Off the GCD DPS increase of any kind? I'll take it!

    Never saw a note about it and didn't inspect combat log numbers on the PTR until today. No one that I talked to knew about it so I thought it should be made a little more well known that one of our abilities has been nerfed off our action bar.

    The nerf never happened. The frag belt still hits for around 50k, and that's not bad for an off gcd free attack every min.

    We had a lot of Wind Lord Heroic wipes where people were using Frag Belt when AOEing the adds, which stuns them and then means the CC gets dropped on the adds you're keeping out :P

    Took a good 10-15 pulls before we cottoned on to what was causing it haha.

    I took engineering because of Frag Belt! Need everything to minmax that dps. I am going to keep it though, afterall it is the best profession even without this grenade.
