    Assurance of Consequence, math done.

    Helpful for people who don't understand how the passive effect works on the trinket. Formula = 100*(1-(1/1.xx)) Note: xx is equal to the percentage shown on the trinket.

    Assurance of Consequence - http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=105472

    For Assurance of Consequence Heroic and Warforged and upgraded to rank 2. "Increases the cooldown recovery rate of six of your major abilities by 50%."

    Formula = 100*(1-(1/1.50)) = 33% cooldown reduction.

    Fire Elemental Totem - 5 minutes (300 seconds) cooldown -> 3.33 Minute (200 seconds) cooldown (with glyph on PTR it's 100 second CD)
    Earth Elemental Totem - 5 minutes (300 seconds) cooldown -> 3.33 Minute (200 seconds) cooldown
    Ascendance - 3 minute (180 seconds) cooldown -> 2 minute (120 seconds) cooldown
    Feral Spirit - 2 minute (120 seconds) cooldown -> 1.33 minute (80 seconds) cooldown
    Spiritwalker's Grace - 2 minute (120 seconds) cooldown -> 1.33 minute (80 seconds) cooldown
    Shamanistic Rage - 1 minute (60 seconds) cooldown -> .66 minute cooldown (40 seconds) cooldown

    For Assurance of Consequence LFR and upgraded to rank 2. "Increases the cooldown recovery rate of six of your major abilities by 33%."

    Formula = 100*(1-(1/1.33)) = 24.8% cooldown reduction.

    just apply the 24.8% (basically 25%) to the base cooldown to see the values. (75, 75, 45, 30, 30, 15 for the lazy folk)

    For challenge mode enthusiasts the rate is: Formula = 100*(1-(1/1.17)) = ~14.53% cooldown reduction (approximate values 45, 45, 26, 17, 17, 8.7)

    any errors just let me know or changes on the PTR. :3

    Because it's the cooldown recovery rate that's increased by 50%.

    Plain as day math. Just most people assume something different if they don't read it closely. Poor choice of wording I guess.

    They should just word it as "The cooldown of abilities is reduced by 33%"

    Their formulation can get pretty confusing :P
