It helps to see your characters if you have light shining on the front of them, taking night time photos might make it moody but it makes it hard to see what you did with your character. The best photos here are in full daylight.

Though I'm still debating whether to go bard or black mage, black mage is both my comfort zone and very awesome, but I keep being drawn to bard... it's fantastic that you can be both on the same character, just one of the many things that I love about the game.
