Anyone know if they do a study like this?

Does anyone know if they do a study where they find out the profit margins of companies before the executives, CEOs, and shareholders of the companies to their cuts?

Always wondered that, would show the companies with the more greedy and top heavy management costs.

Wondered because currently, the profit margins are not really accurate in my opinion in and of themselves due to the fact they can take more of the profits the more they make.

Would be interesting to see what Walmarts 4% or so profit margin would become before the top brass took their cuts compared to other companies like Costco, FoodLion, BestBuy and a host of others.

Do they make studies like this?

Try looking at cost of goods sold and look at gross margin then take out operating costs that include the administrative costs your looking for. Then compare the two.

Some of that may be tricky as dividends are not a too frequent cost and there are also contingent plans, bonus plans, stock options, ect.
