Racial Height pretty much lost all meaning in WoW when we entered ICC and were greeted by a 10 foot tall Tirion Fordring.

This is mostly just so you can actually track down where an enemy is located in a mob of 25 people. If you've ever tried to do Karazhan (or any earlier instance at all where the mobs are normal size), you'll know the pain of it. Originally Posted by Gheld

Since the Curse of the Flesh they seem to have shrunk quite a lot from what the legends state. Tauren are between 7 and 10 feet so regular Mogu are like 14,80 feet and the most tall are like 16 to 17 feet. The old ones probably were the size of Archaedas.

Heroic Size is a temporary buff, Tirion is Usually around 6'2" but in combat his heroic self becomes Larger. (ie game mechanics so they are identifiable by the raid group.) Originally Posted by Gheld
As for Mogu I would say they usually stand 10-15 feet tall.

If read Shadows of the Horde you can see they're really pretty big, even like ~2,2 meter or more.
