Not really. They have to put moderators in, set up stickies, and get the knowledge about the forum out so they can spam this forum with topics instead of the regular General Discussion. It makes perfect sense to set this up now.

IMO that confirms it's not Hearthstone related. As then it would have been a sub-forum under Hearthstone.
