I just updated mine too but was going threw my emails today and found in my spam box a hearthstone beta invite from two months ago still deciding weather to use the key

I sign for all betas and just realized that I got in hearthstone which shock me cause I wasn't expecting it at all

I know right? I wonder if the Beta invites will be sent out after Blizzcon.

I think they said early next year, so probably still a few more months of internal alpha first.

But crossing my fingers it is sooner rather than later. I signed up as soon as I got home from Blizzcon Friday night.

I signed up during the opening ceremony. And I am 100% sure I am gonna end up in the "no beta club" until release. The interest is gonna be like in case of Hearthstone, so far 1 milion closed beta players and many more waiting.

All Blizzard's games seem to go open beta at some point nowadays, so I think you'll at least get in before release

We finally get a decently good Moba, Dota 2 is fun, but I really only played original Dota cause of the Warcraft Characters.

No they did not. They only said that the game was in early alpha stage.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it starts sooner, in January or February for the closed beta. I wouldn't be surprised if the game itself released in Spring.

Because of the designed plan to release additional heroes and maps later, Blizzard has the potential to release a very polished game at a quick [for Blizzard] pace because they're focusing on just 18 heroes and 4 maps.
