So were going to be able to shave our total required time to max level + exalted reps by about 0.1%? 1 hour of +9% EXP/REP is hardly worth shaking a stick at.

The item doesn't go away on use. You get the 9% bonus for both weeks of the event.

I'm not expecting any big rewards for this years anniversary, especially in light of next year being the 10th anniversary. That's a milestone that stands out a bit, and i have a feeling Blizz will make a little fuss over it.

But the 9th? Meh.

I really doubt it'll be a mount.

Afterall if they stick with previous expansions' approx release dates, it'll be easily Q4 next year before the xpac is released. Giving people some fancy new flying mount when you can't even use flying mounts in the new area until the next patch (which will take more than a couple months past release) would be kind of like slapping them in the face. Not that disallowing flying for the 4th fucking time isn't anyway, but you know.

I'd say a pet is most likely. Failing that, maybe a fancy ground mount. Updated, superfancy Talbuk maybe?

That's in regards to the 10th anniversary btw.

As for the 9th, I really don't expect much of anything. I can hear it now... "Oh my god you guys! Designing some little gift to celebrate putting up with this game for 9 years would make the next expansion take like 4 more months to develop guys, gosh! We can't have that can we? Do you want this expansion to come out or do you want some little pet?" Same bullshit they feed people every time, which obviously the fanboys gobble up and regurgitate on demand to anyone that says anything negative about it.
