The Undermine Journal - Scanning schedule?

So I don't really know how many people actually use the Undermine Journal, but I often find it very annoying when I check it out only to see that its last been updated like 2 hours back and I missed out on so many good deals.

Is there any way to have it frequently scan the AH for your respective realm?

No. You can't alter Undermine Journals scan frequency.

However, you may be interested in the TSM desktop client - http://tradeskillmaster.com/tsm_app.

I don't use it personally, but from what friends tell me, it runs in the background of your computer and updates the AH DB in real time (well every 15 minutes).

You're still limited by the frequency at which Blizzard update their API data, which used to be around once an hour.

(I've not looked closely at the API nor the TSM client for a while though, so things may have changed.

On the plus side, when the API does update, you'll have data only a few minutes old. Then again, so will everyone else.
