Hate: hpt and no mass USB use!
cheap feel.
flashing is not as straightforward as my old HTC evo boost phone you need a PC at times to flash.
a little slower than the s4.
took me awhile to setup and it got on my last.

I love my HTC One. That being said my last phone was an LG Rumor, so the upgrade was massive and I don't exactly have decent competition to compare it too.

The only minor gripe I have with it is the charger plugs in from the bottom and not the top of the phone. Using my phone while it's charging becomes a bit silly.

I have an iPhone 4S...I like that it works and I got my email and apps for work and stuff on it. I hate that people give a damn what kind of phone I use.

I have a Droid Max, which does actually have a good battery life (and got it on sale... my wife got her droid free, and mine was only $200 or so, and this was quite a while ago).

It sometimes hangs up when I try to open too many tabs in firefox, but other than that I have no complaints. I like the apple store layout better than the Google Play store layout, but since I don't like the random restrictions Apple puts on their stuff that's a pretty minor complaint.

I find this quite hilarious, but the thing I like the most about my phone is also the thing I dislike the most about my phone: the huge screen. On the plus side it's big and that's awesome for everything. On the other hand however it's a bit to big for my hands so I need to perform daily hand acrobatics to reach the furthest top corner of the display with my thumb when single wielding my phone.

I hate that my Sprint SIII always asks me if I want to join a WiFi hotspot every time I enter one, no matter how many times I tell it to quit asking. Actually I hate everything about it period.

i agree with this. I have no idea what the hell Google was thinking with the layout for the store. They need to redo it!

I can watch a few news-sites. I guess I should be happy that I can see facebook, but it's filled with nothing useful....

On the other side, the batteries of nowadays' smarthphones suck, their prices are atrocious for their functionality and they are incredibly uninnovative. They are all simple black squares.

And I'll grab this as a chance to promote my Apple hate. It's for a specific type of people(in a bad way, yes).

My thoughts on smartphones in general:

Bad: awful battery time compared to old "non-smart" phones.

Good: they're essentially pocket-sized mini computers.

An owner of the HTC One here, I upgraded it from a HTC Desire HD, quite a significant upgrade but I absolutely love the phone, there's not much to fault with it really!, I don't fancy going into an indepth review but I'll just say that its a truly brilliant phone and that if anyone is looking for a new smartphone to buy, I would highly recommend it
