Would probably be the honor of theives affect or some other similar thing,been playin a rogue for years it used to give combo points now its just to dispell enrages and add an added effect to your poisons.

Shiv does not give combo points.

This is not accurate, as mentioned above. Shiv used to cost more energy and provide CP as well as proccing the OH poison. It no longer does this, and it now costs only 20 energy. We do not have a 20e CP generator at this time. Originally Posted by lducks

Well, if you crit with shiv in sub spec, it could award you a combo point. And if you follow this line of reasoning then raging blow, flash heal, and swipe are also abilities that add combo points lol
