I have yet to mess with that final talent much, but it SEEMS like it should be so good in arena. I think my problem is that I spent a lot of my more serious arena attempts with folks who DR with that pretty hard, so I didn't want to crap up their real CC for a quick interrupt.

This is non-sensical. Paralytic was never an alternative to mind-numbing. People don't use paralytic mainly because prey on the weak is a far better talent, and nothing has changed in that regard.

Also I guess the MindNumbing-Shiv isn't nerfed? It's what I like more of it on top of the flat out cast reduction.
Shiv a heal or a dps and watch it doubt when to cast some thing, and I got kick and a dirty-tricky-glyphed-gouge just in case.
Also I play mut.

PD: And no, I hated paralytic when I tried it.
