Blank Screen

Hello!

I have been having a problem since the beginning of the year. When I turn on my computer most of the time does not show up anything. It is a completely blank screen but the power button is lit up. I can also hear Windows start at the logging screen but I see nothing. So I usually have to turn it off and on again until it finally shows the start up.

Up until now I have tried flashing the Bios and even installed Windows 8 to see if the problem is fixed but it is still happening. Also on a couple of occasions my a blue screen appeared telling me something was wrong with my bios and to set my computer to a previous date in time when it worked. Could it be that my graphics card is fried or something similar?

This is the laptop I am using.
