I think if they will ever create DH, they will go this way. Maybe using DH from Diablo 3 as a template.

Lorewise, DH training is very painful and leads to insanity or death quite often. There is only a handful of them alive.

Wouldn't Warlocks be a better option to use against the BL since their abilities encompass a far larger skill set than the DH, and even includes the most powerful DH abilities?

Seems rather redundant to bring in a limited demonic-based class when you already have a holistic demonic-based class, don't you think?

There are no classes beside druid that use int leather, so there is loot space.

The short answer is no. There will not be a DH class under the current system.

    Why?

Blizzard has already commented that they are only willing to support a limited number of classes. How many that is is anyones guess, but I would suspect "12" would be right. Regardless, under such circumstance, it is good design practise to ensure each player class is very different from each. The Demon Hunter doesn't fulfil that criteria.

Blizzard has also commented on the lack of design space and other issues. These make if difficult, if not impossible, for the class to carve out an identity that is unique from other classes in game. As a result, adding a DH class can only harm the identity of these existing classes. That's not something Blizzard is going to do unless there is a clear gameplay based benefit.

Blizzard has pursued a design path that os one of convergence between the DH and Warlock. That has lasted 7 yrs and shows no sign of changing

Priests and Paladins share the same school of magic. What they don't do is share the same design space. Warlocks and DHs? They do.,

2.The Metamorphosis used by Warlocks grants them more powerful spells , but the Metamorphosis used by Demon Hunters grants them "ranged" capabilities. Blizzard can create a brand new type of Demonic Transformations which can be used by the Demon Hunters. The new Metamorphosis may just be a different transformation in design from the one of the Warlocks. Warlocks use Meta for different purposes but Demon Hunters win "ranged" capabilities by using it.
They can. They could. They won't. Again...its that class identity issue. Blizzard won't give a move like meta to another class without some gameplay benefit. And without it, DHs lose a lot of their flavor. it isn't the effect - its the whole "turning into a demon motif".

We know it'll happen because it happened before.

    3. Rogues may use Evasion , but blizzard can create a new cursed vision for the Demon Hunters that grants them dodge.
    4. The Immolate which Warlocks use is an 8 yard ability , but The Demon Hunters cover their bodies in Flame ( which warlocks dont do) and then damage nearby enemies (0-3 yards)
8.I believe that Blizzard has enough creativity to make Demon Hunters Work by giving them unique playing styles for example :
9.The point is to create a new class with new spells based on what spells Demon Hunters generally use. Demon Hunters wont have the same Meta Warlocks use. They cant have the Evasion of the Rogues. So they can have Debilitating Strike , Spellbreak , Shadow Prison etc....
The issue isn't gameplay or ability lists.

    5. I think that the Demon Hunters have a 80% chance to be implemented because the class itself is very attractive and there is a high number of players that want to play a Demon Hunter.
    10. After some years the expansion against The Burning Legion will be released and the Demon Hunters will be a good class choice for that expansion.
Popularity is not a primary concern for Blizzard. It's important, but they've made unpopular decisions before and will do so again. The key question is" Is it good for the game?" and in this case, DHs are not.

    6. Many players think that the new class need to wear mail Armor, because of the Balance issues. The balance issues caused by Armors can be resolved by giving the class different physical damage reducing buffs, parry increases or Armor Increasing Stances. Example : Fel Stance : Your body is covered by Fel Runes increasing your parry chance by 10% , armor by 110% and your movement speed by 10%.
7.Many players think that Blizzard cant balance the classes within the game , why would Blizzard add another class ?! No game is perfect and the perfect Balance cannot be achieved. Blizzard can add the Demon Hunter class to win MONEY !
These aren't issues affecting the addition of DHs.

    So...

Will Blizzard create a new class that harms old ones? No.
Will Blizzard use a class slot - likely limited - on a class whose design space is largely already present in game? No.
Will Blizzard use a class slot on a class whose history and presence in game brings with it certain baggage and expectations that make it difficult to design for an make unique? No.
Would Blizzard be following a design pathway that converges the DH with another class if it had any intention of bringing it into the game as a full class? No.

Traditionally paladins only fought orcs and undead. You seem to not understand the whole "generic Warcraft adventurer" thing every class in this game represents. Half of the classes in the this game lore wise are mostly spending time with duties and not running around going on random adventures and travelling around the landscape just to see what's around the next bend in the road.

The now non canon RPG was a perfect example of this, as well as the Warhammer Quest board game, traditional units who have exceptional heroes and antiheroes wandering around for treasure and revenge or whatever else inspires a hero to go on a quest in a generic fantasy world of superheroes like this. As for why a demon hunter would be out looking beyond keeping the contamination around Hyjal contained, there are demons and demonic cults all over Azeroth manipulating things, from the Scarlet Crusade to creepy cults in backwoods mountain villages. Demon Hunters also hate the Sourge and hunt Undead, as they are demonic in Warcraft's lore and part of their spectral sight in WC3 canon. A Demon Hunter hero would be like Van Helsing or a Death Knight, use your fucking imagination and stop looking for reasons to shoot the idea out of the water. They were obviously intended to be in the game somehow, and for now Blizzard has used Rogues and Warlocks to let people be wannabe demon hunters.

It's amazing how many anti demon hunter hipsters there are out there in the world, as much as I think they might not ever happen, the vehemence and disdain showed for them over Illidan and the rule of cool will make your tears an oasis in the desert. Then again most of you will probably shut the fuck up and go back under your bridges like they did with the Pandaren, or resort to mocking all the "illidan wannabes" and "panda babies" as we've seen with DKs and Pandaren.
