Caffeine has a halflife in the body of a few hours in most people, and if you develop a tolerance to it you can get headaches when blood levels drop too low.

But see a doctor, rather than depending on internet comments.

I actually just got over having a sinus headache, migraine and a tension headache all at once. I get a lot of headaches, usually with this mix. I have sinus problems, migraines run in my family, and headaches cause my hypochondria to act up so i get a tension headache from stress about my health. It's a lovely combo.

Used to be, but I know how to treat them pretty well. Pain killers and caffeine for the migraine, acupressure for the tension ans sinus headache, and saline spray for the sinus.

I get headaches about 1 or 2 times a week at the worst of times for the last 20 years. Tried almost anything, weather is my primary trigger, specifically barometric pressure and humidity do it for me.

There's treatments and medications that can be used that aren't nearly as damaging to your body unlike taking advil/tyloenol every time you get one.

If it's chronic. Go see a doctor, get a referral to a neurologist, get tests etc. I personally have been through blood tests, ECG, CT Scan and all that stuff, nothing physically apparent, blood pressure is all good, no food allergies or whatever. Unfortunately there's just not enough science yet and everyone is different. But yeah if it's chronic see a doctor.

Now I take Axert(Almotriptan) when I get a headache, usually works within 10 minutes of taking one. It's a triptan medication, basically part of a huge family of migraine meds. But I have gone through about 7 different kinds of triptans before finding the right one. Just takes some time and consultation. I've had varied results with things like Maxalt and Cambian too, though Cambian had a terrible side effect of making me throw up because it tastes just awful when you dissolve it in water...

So yeah, doctor, get tests, get samples, try them out. It's more likely they'll find nothing physically wrong with you (despite what people here have said...), so don't put it off simply because you're afraid they're going to find like spider eggs in your head or something ridiculous. But you should get it cleared first.

Oh, also, I find using a nice hot heating pad where the pain is worse usually helps take the edge off.

I get them a lot, but I found out it was from caffeine withdraw. Usually my right eye area and forehead. If I don't drink coffee for like 2 days I will get a bad headache for a few hours, but after that I don't get it again until I start drinking coffee (and then stop drinking it for a while).

There are a few things that can cause it:
*You have a bad air in room.
    *You eat too much chocolate
    *Too much caffeine
*You dont sleep enogh (no 6h is not enogh)
    *You stink (bad body smells)
*The sudden change in air pressure (for example from sunny day to rainy day)
    *Too much life stress
*Dental or Jaw problems (most of the time this is a case)
    *Infections
*A food that you are not used too (diet for example)
    *High blood pressure
    *Too much work
    *Alcohol
    *You dont drink enogh
*Noise (if you hear it every day on a high decibel it can cause this)
    *Stuff i forgot

I say check this list and see if there is something wrong. I usualy do that and than eat some garlic or take a aspirin and go to bed for 4h at least.

If you are, stop drinking diet soda.
Stop eating food with Aspartame. That's been proven to cause blood vessels in the brain to shrink, causing headaches, along with several other health problems, like weight gain. Interesting note about Aspartame: Despite the numerous university studies linking the drug to increased cancer in mice, the FDA refuses to acknowledge these reports.

I used to get random headaches, stopped taking things aspartame in them, and noticed a very quick change. If the problem still persist, go to a doctor. You might be allergic to something in your daily diet.

Sometimes I get random stabbing pains somewhere around my right frontal/parietal area. The attack lasts for like 5-10 seconds tops and consists of just a few throbs of pain, but each throb is painful enough to make me recoil and yell out loud. The frequency is pretty low (< 1 per week) so it's not a big problem. I would like to know what's going on up there though.

Could be trigeminal neuralgia. The pain associated with that disorder can be extreme, so if it's not as bad as that, consider yourself lucky.

As always, see a doctor rather than settle for an internet forum diagnosis.

On topic, I get smallish headaches from time-to-time, but they are few and far between. I call them "water headaches" because I don't regularly drink water outside of work. An 8oz cup or two, or three, always makes these go away within a few minutes. Whenever I have an extended absence from work, longer than a weekend, I tend to forget that I need to drink water.
Okay, I would LOVE to hear your source for this. I know it is true for some brands, but most tea types I've seen (both in specialist shops and grocery stores) are closer to 1/8th.

On topic: Migraine comes in a bajillion different forms, go to a doctor. IF it is migraine, most types are treatable, and not the better-known "BLinding headache, seeing sounds, hating everything during it"-kind.

Once in a while when I see something glowing and spinning in the sky, but I'm sure it's nothing. They leave me alone now.

I started getting migraines a few years ago when I started at my university. They aren't really like headache's though, they are very strange. It's way crazy though I get light sensitive, everything is really loud, I can smell things from far away (and they make me nauseous), I'll throw up constantly, my body will get numb and sometimes I can't speak english. I am lucky though, I only get them once a year and I know people that have them once a week on preventative medication.

Headaches can be caused by a lot of different things. One of the more common things is drinking soda, especially the diet (aspartame filled) variety. I have a few friends who's headaches have stopped simply because they stopped drinking soda.
