The problem is everyone is assuming that since it got pulled off the schedule that means it's cancelled. I would bet almost anything it'll show up in Phase 4 which right now won't have any dates and why we haven't seen the Inhuman date change. The only way I can see them cancelling Inhumans is if they somehow either A) Got full rights back to X-Men or B) Got creative control over them or C) Was allowed to use them in their movies.

id love for it to show back up again at some point.

BUT,

the most important thing is, ms marvel is still happening, which means.

That they want to make a X-Men copy seems like pretty wonky reasoning. Inhumans are now part of a TV-show, and the movie has seen zero movement since it was announced, so it does not seem implausible that they've simply changed plans.

the fact it was an ike thing is the biggest.

you would think civil war would be the biggest place to mention inhumans and agents of shield... but nope. not a single bone thrown to them because fiege doesnt care for agents of shield.

weve heard ZERO anything on agents of shield crossing over at all, the only hint of crossover with the tv stuff is the netflix stuff which fiege has more creative control over

Because AoS, and all the TV stuff is a massive quality drop from the movies/Netlfix. The only reason AoS has the viewerbase that it does is because of the Marvel name, you lose that and it goes straight back to being a generic tv show. The perfect time to have done an AoS crossover was in AoU, when the Helicarrier turned up, in Winter Solider, when they were literally walking around inside Shield Headquarters ffs.

Marvel: the company that gets criticized for making an Asian person white, but not making a white person Asian meanwhile having the most progressive and original runs in their actual source material. Proof that haters just wanna hate. Do we want to see how crazy people get when they have a Muslim superhero? Will they get death threats and religious zealots writing op:eds on how Marvel supports terrorism?

Ugh. Sorry, had to get that rant out before celebrating the awesomeness of Civil War this weekend. I expect a flood of sad DC fans coming in here to try and say it's worse than BvS...seems like the randohate is already starting. Gonna be a fun year.

yeah seems marvel has their own civil war between their movie and TV divisions and are a bit divided which is a shame. If all these companies just got along, the crossovers would be amazing

personally i feel fiege should be given control of the tv division as well (or allowed to elect his own replacement)

everything everybody is saying is that since perlmutter and the creative committee left its been a golden age of development at marvel and theres been alot more freedom and cohesiveness now that the only people meddling in the movies are fiege and the directors/producers.

we'll see the fruits of that golden age starting with doctor strange.

i do think at some point we will see coulson again in a movie. but i have little hope we'll ever see skye and her gang until fiege is put into control

i do wonder how long fiege will stay though. had perlmutter remained there i feel he wouldve left after phase 4 but i feel like he'll stay.

it will be interesting what he'll do afterwards. everybody says hes always wanted to be put in charge of star wars once hes done telling the stories he wants to tell at marvel

I think it's just a matter of the two different environments, broadcast tv "plays" differently than the movies, and the Netflix stuff is more like a movie than a tv show in some ways. I know there are fans of AoS, I myself managed to cling to hope of improvement through season2 while everyone else I know abandoned it in season1. It doesn't feel like "hey, we have a great idea for a TV show!" but more like "hey, we need some kind of marvel procedural to run on our network!" It has changed format in many ways from when it first aired, but still clings to the same cast rather than cutting some of them and do a more complete reboot.

I was re-watching the first Captain America movie, and I know this is probably a stupid question to be asking at this point, but did the Red Skull not actually die? It looks to me that he just got teleported somewhere in the cosmos - the effect looked exactly the same as the teleporting effect in the Thor movies. Again, this is old, and probably pretty obvious, but somehow I guess I missed it till now.

Its never explained, but yeah its a pretty popular theory that he just got teleported somewhere. Its doubtful that we'll find out anytime soon, since Hugo Weaving doesn't want to come back as Red Skull, and I don't think they have any plans for the character.

Correct, he was never killed/destroyed/whichever. He simply fell into a portal of sorts, but that's as far as we know. I feel like if the actor wanted to play the role more they would dive further into the storyline as I'm sure they left it open for a way to bring the Red Skull into present day time (like how Cap is frozen and brought back). At this point I think it'll be left at that until they feel like casting a new actor. =/

I'm thinking the plan was to use him in another Cap movie, perhaps instead of Zemo, and maybe during the Infinity Wars....but Weaving hated it, so it was easier to just let the character go away. That being said, they could always recast. Doesn't take Hugo Weaving to have a German accent and wear makeup.
