why do you fear the economic system you´re opposed to?

i´m not to sure if the title is correct, i´ll try to explain

the one economic system you oppose the most, why do you and what do you fear would come with it?

i´m a fan of mixed economic systems as i think they bring the best from each to the table or at least balance whatever problems one brings out with the solutions another brings

though i fear capitalism the most, because i think it nurtures greed and hate and keeps seperating groups of people

It also creates an oligarchy. American history has demonstrated this ~1900.

    Unchecked capitalism.

    It's just a caste system.

    How this thread will go:

I fear socialism because I don't want to pay for everybody else to have a million babies.

I fear capitalism because I don't want corporations taking control as they're evil.

I also prefer a mixed economic system, But what I fear most, even though my country was the first country to use it, is pure capitalism.

    for this reason,

and because it'll have no welfare/disability. Losing my income would be rather bad.

Actually I fear communism because the communist movement has been hijacked by radical primativists who want to send the human race back to the stone age.

I fear capitalism because consumers have become a bunch of mindless zombies who just surrender their hard earned money without asking any questions; the end result being rampant slave labour around the world and ridiculously terrible product quality in most sectors.

The "Old" American capitalism we were used to must change. Without a significant change in the landscape of the working class (think the change that occurred with an agrarian society to industrialism at the turn of the 20th century) capitalism will hasten it's march to an Oligarchy.

Think of the economy like a game. If someone jumps in midstream you have the people who have been playing and building resources with a distinct advantage. The people with the distinct advantage in the game may not even be your best players but can control the game through controlling resources. This can stifle innovation and demotivate the talented...losing an opportunity of advancement through evolution.

As a person who has benefitted from being in "the game" longer than most and most of the people I know are also benefactors of this set-up..I can see that it is not healthy for the long term of society. I get immense power from it but it will lead to problems.

"Fear" is a bad word to use.

Unchecked free markets will inevitably act for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many, resulting in a market that is no longer "free" through monopolization and other such practices, because those are the best way to maximize the potential to profit, which is what's held up as the ideal under such a system.

Pure forms of communism remove ambition, as you're essentially assigned a role to fill, and performing "better" is not rewarded. This works for some, but not all, and thus leads to economic slowdown in the long term (in theory, at least, since the world has yet to see an implementation of this kind of economy).

Mixed economies work best. I tend to favor a more highly socialist system, since the purpose of the economy should be to maximize the welfare of the people, but there still needs to be a degree of income stratification, to foster ambition and drive.

I despise Socialism because it rewards the lazy people instead of creating incentives to work as hard and be as diligent as possible.
Only very few people would actually give their very best if they don't get any advantage out of doing so.

Austria is to a large extend socialist.. and the problems you have mentioned don't appear to be real problems.

Only on paper, really. The Social Democrats, though being the biggest party, are doing whatever the right-wingers ask from them.
Also, those problems do in fact exist, but they're not that severe because of the above-mentioned thing.

in american terms our austrian right wings are leftis

and i don´t agree with you, you probably find some people that play the social construct and manage to have a somewhat decent standard of living, i doubt the majority could do the same or even is willing to

I fear capitalism because it's given me horrible things such as a computer, Internet access, a gaming forum, the game the forum is based on and other disgusting luxuries.

I think you answered your own questions. Those who hold values that are extreme, will have extreme reactions to even the middle. If there is a large gap in ideology, there will be a lot to disagree with.

Invalid argument. The best motivator for humanity is boredom, not greed. Without capitalism, all of those things could easily exist.

And yes, I do fear capitalism the most. Capitalism has given us monarchy, totalitarianism and dictatorship. Capitalism is the system that promotes a 'might makes right' mentality, and left unchecked, the end-result is a race to complete monopoly. Complete market control, complete production control, complete civilian control.

Because i think its better to be robbed by the government and get healthcare instead of getting robbed, beat, and enslaved by companies without morals.

That's not completely true. The foundation or infrastructure of everything you listed had socialist origins. Capitalism exploited them, in a good way, but without socialist policy, capitalism will have little to exploit. Mixed economy is where it's at... The issue should be how and where to apply specific principles, not blind obedience to ideology...
