Tell what class, ilvl and spec you have, and what skill you achieved it with against what class. Screenshot to prove it is also nice.

Rules:
- PvP battle vs players (not pets, mirror images or banners etc.)
- pvp gear (only pvp gear)
- No berserking
- All buffs and flasks are allowed
- Temple of Kotmogu orb-debuff or WSG/TP Flag-debuff doesn't count

174k Howling Blast vs a Holy Paladin

95k slam as a 523 arms warr against a hunter, no buffs beyond battle shout and colossus smash debuff.

That 174k is really doubtful. Must've been an off-hit on a Psyfiend unless you could provide us with a proper combat log.

This was all in 1 arena game. Probably the last 10 seconds of the game.

It's not that ubelievable really...
I can crit like 90-100k with Howling Blast (self-buffed, no flasks or any external damage boosts) in duels. When you add all the buffs and flasks and potions 174k is quite manageable.
Didn't get to screenshot the combat-log because when you Howling Blast in a big crowds (+frost fever) it's gona in Combat Logalmost immediately

Lazy. I took his name from his screenshot, looked up his armory and here is some napkin math.

He has 17967 STR base.
He is human, so proc and on use trinket.
He has 45.78% mastery.
He is DW so +15% frost damage and fallen crusader
Horn is +10% AP
pillar is +20% str
he said all buffs so mastery is 3k, which is about another +10% frost damage
kings is +5% str
debuff would be +5% frost damage

HB is 1.16*(573+AP*.738)

so 17967 str, with 3670 on use, 5179 proc, +5% kings, +15% crusader, +1k flask, +4k pot, +20% from pillar, and +10% AP from horn is about 46k str. That is roughly 101k AP.

So HB is 1.16*(573+101k*.748) = 87128 non modified.

So, add in all the modifiers, 87k +55% from mastery, +15% from razorice, +5% from curse = 162831 non crit. We will just call that 163k. So crit would be 326k. He has 49% power, assume pal had 80% res. 326k turns into 486 which turns into 97k.

So rough napkin math tells me he should be hitting a pal for about 100k with everything up, so must be shenanigans.

I hit a 650k Lightning Bolt, doesn't sound much but if you think that it's a spammable filler spell... that could get duplicated with Echo of the Elements, then duplicated with Mastery (75% damage with a 92% chance) combined with Echo of The Elements on the duplicate (duplicate again), it get's a bit silly

I critted a 240k on a freshly geared mage without berserking just stars alining with my buffs and whatnot (plus op human racial) normally I get about 130k chim shot crits if im lucky 90k aimed shot and 110k power shots.

If we are talking all stars aligning here then that isn't correct. For one, we can't assume, in a bg, his target has 80% resil. Lets assume he has the baseline 77%, that changes it slightly: 326k -> 75k -> ~112k. I would also assume skull banner which is easily possible in a random bg, so 112k -> 134k. Its also really unlikely, although possible, his target has berserking (not him like in the rules), and takes another 10%. So 134k -> 147k.

Still not all the way their, and of course I could throw out all sorts of other conditions that could make it happen, like getting tricks'd from a rogue, prey on the weak from a rogue kidney, or dark simming a buff like dark soul: mastery right before hand. Just tricks and prey on the weak alone would make it: 147k -> 186k. Just saying there is some crazy ways to get big numbers.

I don't have a screen but I had a soul reaper crit for 190k in an arena on my UH dk, think it was on a rogue who didn't know what feint was.

Remember critting about 134k Execute with my newly boosted Warrior 2 weeks ago. Made a screenshot too. Not the highest I've gotten this patch, but with no PvP gear, that was impressive as ****.

I think I've crit for over 200k with starsurge. Presumably with berserking and stuff tho.
