That's one boss I hope blizzard goes back and fixes (for people who want to transmog run ICC). Maybe once you start the encounter you're granted a small healing spell.
Grab buffs, stack into the billions, yoloswag bandage the drag.
Though in all seriousness how do expect any other class that can't heal others to be able to heal Dreamwalker?
Death Knights have maggots and have the ability to use one of the mobs in ICC to bypass it so technically they already can heal others.
That still counts as self healing but as before I never mentioned if they had to be able to heal themselves just if they're unable to heal others how else are they going to heal the boss? Also Tsulong when Terrace becomes soloable in the future.
not really relevant to the thread but the level 90 talent allows mages to heal quite a bit more with the glyph. Removes the CD of evocate (but nerfs heal to 10%) and rune of power allows you to heal 1% of your HP per second.
There's also temporal shield that heals you for 100% of the damage you take in a 4 second period and Cold Snap which instantly heals you for 30% of your health.
unfortunately blizzard is blizzard and that means one thing: being inconsistent.
maybe they'll sometimes fix the boss so it fits their statement that old bosses should not become trivial but doable
if you're an engineer you can skip the stupid fight btw
Its simple, you don't! Hybrid classes are the masters of ICC don't come up on our turf! :P
I believe there was a tweet a few months ago saying that 6.0 would make Dreamwalker skippable.
There was, because they felt sorry for the people complaining when the current structure exactly matches their plan: we don't care if every class can solo every old raid, that isn't really our agenda. Some classes will be better at that, and like lowbie pvp and other things, we just plain don't balance around it or design around it.
They still sometimes go back and do something to make it happen -- expect the same in spoils in WoD+1 or +2 -- but it isn't agenda. Their solution for warriors is pretty much still "get a healer for that boss, or a lockout beyond it".
Get an alt that can heal. Do the boss then go back with your character you want to clear the raid with.
tldr; op wants tier10 free transmog, never played decent endgame progression, stumbles on boss he doesn't know off, complains on forums.
