    got it from a facebook post, from may 18th, so its a bug before new patch, checked in yesterday, but didn't had time to ask here.

    Itemlevel-Calculation is sometimes fucked up if you'r switching 2 Onehands with a twohand (for me it was a few times at least, telling me Equipment in Bag is so and so high, due to a Twohander in my Inventory, but upon equiping it sinks back to what should normally be.
    And now, seeing he has a Twohanded weapon in the one hand and a shield in off, I'd figure it's something along those lines

    That is indeed strange how that guy have spent 5k valor on upgrades when max he could have would be 4k (be 3k before this week, and cap again).

    it's clearly a bug, if you look it says "average item level 568 (602 equipped)". your "average item level" will NEVER be lower than your equipped, unless it's bugged calculations.

    Buy 3k valours worth of items before patch. Quickly gain 1k of valor pre-patch. After patch, login, spend valor, refund items and get 3k valor back.

    3000 from previous week. New week, cap is reset. Spend VP on upgrades, buy more VP within new weekly cap, spend on more upgrades.

    As for the bug... it's because he has a 2 hander and a shield equipped. It appears to break the armory. So instead of total ilvl/# of items, it calculates it as total ilvl /(# items - 1)
